Anna Kolchina is a New York–based jazz vocalist with Slavic roots, known
for her warm, expansive voice and emotionally precise interpretations of
jazz standards. Her performances are marked by a rare sense of intimacy
and emotional truth, where every lyric feels fully lived and understood.
Critics consistently highlight the angelic purity of her tone, the haunting
elegance of her delivery, understated quality of her phrasing. With a
sensibility rooted in classic jazz tradition, she brings a deeply compelling
presence to the contemporary jazz scene.
She has released three acclaimed albums with Venus Records,
collaborating with renowned jazz masters including Peter Washington,
Willie Jones III, John Di Martino, and Massimo Faraò.
Her most recent album, Reach For Tomorrow, released on Origin Records
and warmly received by critics, features collaborations with celebrated
guitarists such as Russell Malone, Yotam Silberstein, Paul Bollenback,
Peter Bernstein, Ilya Lushtak, and Romero Lubambo.
