"Funkabout" is the result of the cooperation between Amiryan Mish and the Nalbandian brothers, since 2009. It is very singular in the musical diversity of Yerevan. Their music is a unique mix of jazz, blues, funk, soul, neo soul, fusion, which has been adapted to the urban environment of Yerevan.
It should be noted that in 2012, the band "Funkabout" participated in an international music competition organized by the world-famous English recording studios "Avid" and "Abby Roads", which, by the way, involved more than 5,000 participants from around the world. In this competition, the group "Funkabout" took the honorable first place, presenting the an original work "Triangle".
Funkabout is still active, creating and recording new songs, as well as performing at numerous concerts. The band's musicians have changed over the years due to various circumstances.
So, on july 29, 20:30, at Ulikhanyan Jazz Club, you have the opportunity to listen to the art of "Funkabout".
